The Return of the Spice Girls Tour
The Return of the Spice Girls Tour marked the long-awaited reunion of all five Spice Girls, bringing Victoria, Melanie C, Emma, Melanie B and Geri back together on stage for the first time in nearly a decade. Running from December 2007 to February 2008, the tour was their first major concert tour since Spiceworld in 1998 and followed years of solo projects, family life and individual adventures.
Spanning 45 performed shows, the tour celebrated the group’s incredible catalogue of hits, from Wannabe and Say You’ll Be There to Spice Up Your Life and Who Do You Think You Are. Fans around the world welcomed the reunion, with the tour selling 581,066 tickets and generating approximately $70.1 million in ticket sales, alongside an estimated $100 million in merchandise revenue.
One of the tour’s biggest highlights was the Spice Girls’ 17-night sold-out residency at London’s O₂ Arena. Drawing more than 256,000 fans and grossing $33.8 million, the residency became the highest-grossing engagement of 2008 and earned the group a Billboard Touring Award for Top Boxscore. The tour ranked among the year’s most successful concert tours worldwide.
The Return of the Spice Girls Tour remains a particularly special chapter in the group’s history: the only full tour to feature all five original members following Geri’s return, and the last Spice Girls tour to include Victoria Beckham. It was a celebration of friendship, nostalgia and the enduring power of Girl Power.
